Yekope exists because of you! Your generous donations provide more than food, clothing, and care, it provides Hope and a Home for the abandoned children throughout Kogi State.

As of June 2021, Yekope can accommodate up to 20 children. We want to expand to reach the hundreds more that are still in need of a home. Each child has a unique story and each is welcomed into the Yekope community, no questions asked.
Our passion drives us, but we still face major obstacles. With limited resources, we are unable to expand capacity, improve our facilities, and provide every service we would like to.

Our ultimate goal is to break broken cycles by providing quality education, medical & mental care, access to opportunities, and constant encouragement to the orphans in our community.

Yekope children, staff, board members, and donors are all part of the Lokoja community. Within our mission to care for the orphans is all the responsibility to address various root causes. Tending to the community as much as we can allows us to tackle some of those "bad" roots.
